Public Concourse of High Street, Community Centre

The public concourse in the design of a community centre acts as at focal point in the project. The existing granite arched facade frames the view of the elevated platform onto the King George Fifth park down below. The proposed courtyard on left provides an outdoor multi-purpose open space in the community centre. The public concourse forges a new leisure ground for the community in High Street (an old district in the western part of Hong Kong Island.)
