Figment of Imagination

The aim of this project is to explore the idea of domesticity through form, geometry and colour and to demonstrate how this is related to one’s imagination. The image has been constructed to reveal the relationship between various architectural components and the quality of interior and exterior spaces and how they come together in one image. There is a juxtaposition of spaces of interiority containing story within a space, whereas other stories and spaces are in-between.
In order to understand the space, at its centre, the manifesto image contains ‘abstract’ architectural components of geometry, colour, and various layers of inhabitation. These architectural components can include rooms, gardens, doors, water, windows, and hallways that are each represented in the elevation perspective. This is the abstraction of components of existing spaces in architecture that surround our everyday life and those that make up a story that inhabit our imagination.
