Narrative of Garden of Lost Opportunities

This is a narrative drawing of 'The Garden of Lost Opportunities'- a safe zone provided for the 'wrongfully blacklisted' people in China under Social Credit System.

This is a drawing that is in fragments to speculate the extended journey of the blacklisted people for the proposal 'The Garden of Lost Opportunities'. Instead of the literal illustration of the 'sectional perspective' submitted in one of the entries, this entails what constitutes the design- the server farm that runs the garden and the more public garden spaces, fragmented in form of islands. These islands are where the blacklisted people who went astray seek their lost opportunities with their lost acquaintaces, as they were banned from various accesses within the society.

The drawing, just like other Chinese scenery painting captures both distant and closest views to depict the paths the users take search for the starting point.
