This drawing provides a way to rethink / revive left-over spaces with-in the city such as abandoned scaffolding. The project looks to the leftovers from past as the structure for the future by providing a system that could be adapted to various programs and site conditions depending on the needs of the time. It explores possible interaction between an existing rigid system and an invading flexible system like fabric. This yields spaces with unique qualities that could be reconfigured easily as well as a feasible alternative for architecture.
Formally it is a series of interchangeable pods varying in size, transparency and acoustic quality existing within a movable grid-like structure connected by a series of ramps.The systems in this project creates a place that is continually evolving and doesn’t force a face on the project rather the configuration of the elements at every point in time give the building its face.
