BADJAO WATER WORLD (The Unforgotten Ingenious People in the Far East)

Badjao are group of ethnic local tribes found in the southern part of Mindanao, Philippines. “Trained by natures, nurtured by waters”.

The Proposed Badjao Future Communities are divided into (3) sustainable ingenious quarter zone: 1, vertical ethnic’s towers residence, 2, hovering ethnics residence, 3, carved ethnics mountain residence (Inner cliff rock Built-In shelter).

Fishing and diving are everyday life, 90% percent of their time spent move-walk on waters. Their shelters are built to stand a test of time, founded on ocean floor, using an improvised unique weapon tools and gadget, made by mighty stand of bamboo, closed knot rattan & abacas, a plank wooden walls, and ingenious roof materials available locally. Together, they build the unprecedented organic shelters located on top sea surface, ocean hovering, inner cliff side of mountain rocks, providing sustainable ecological balanced between nature’s and man.
