Two Infinite lines
Drawing is a fascinating tool to see incompatible things together. As Lissitzky(1890-1941) explored multiple perspectives with shifting axes in 2-dimensional canvas, drawing gives us multiple different ways to see the world. Of course, in the end, we decide what we want to see.
This is a series of drawings that are concatenated by two infinite lines. Two infinite lines become not only a link that connects drawings but also a pathway for people in this drawing.
Plan and section coexist here, and perspective and non-perspective view are combined in one frame. Trees and buildings are side by side, and the mountain and stairs are overlapped. Two infinite planes that pass through these multiple scenes imply that this drawing is open-ended.
