This drawing is a vivid portrait composed of time slices of three different important moments to Favela Vila Prudente, located in São Paulo, Brazil. On deeper inspection, favelas commonly have an intricate process of architectural conception and rich daylife atmosphere, that evolves within decades in pursuit of individual aspirations and limitless spatial possibilities. The use of color ranges between shades of red, green, and cyan, represents respectively interventions and inhabitants in 1980, 2000, and 2020.

The complex wireframe in the sky realm represents the invisible but intricate familiar relations of its inhabitants, and above all represents cartographically the origins of each family as a synthesis of Favela Vila Prudente formation due to the rural exodus process from north and northeast of Brazil. This is an attempt to give visibility and fair recognition of this forgotten urban tissue that survives amid the voracious urban machine of São Paulo.
