"Time, Space and The Illusion of Artificial Intelligence" by Ina Dajci
The Vitruvian Man, Modulor and AIMan placed beyond the horizon of materiality, a place without need for scale of standards, because through Artificial Intelligence the world as we know it- as we know how to measure- has changed forever.
For centuries, Architects attempted to discover mathematical proportions in the human body and then use that knowledge in architecture. In the brief span of less than a generation, digital technologies have moved from word processing to 3D processing (from verbal to spatial operations), changing the Architectural design and thinking tools. Now we relate and respond to the world in an unknown and unthinkable way in architectural history- through high tech sensors, outside of our bodies-the home of our natural senses-.
Have these sensors stolen our sensitivity; our human emotional algorithms; the internal development which is the only design tool that brings us closer to true intelligence.
