"Becoming Liminal" by Keagan Fowler
After COVID-19 we will approach a mental phase/transition space moving on from the experience of living through the pandemic. What does this phase entail? What will the implications be for occupying common spaces?
This drawing aims to bring about discussion around these questions by showing changes throughout the various stages of COVID-19. The rooms represent various spaces for human interaction throughout a day. They float on top of the ambiguous background to show that the configuration of spaces does not represent a functional structure, but rather the various destinations of a person throughout their day. As such, the right side of the image shows a wary person departing a room to go about their day, that may be through various pathways, as shown by the arrows. As people come across one another, how does occupation change based on the stage of the
pandemic?
