This is a building space structure diagram, which mainly shows building space blocks and the relationship among blocks. To be specific, archetypes of tower, temple, ditch, courtyard and street around the site are extracted, and then these concrete spaces are turned into abstract still geometric objects. Semantic overlap is created by spatial placement, that is, familiar things are rearranged in an unfamiliar form, which helps trigger people’s memory. Blocks are not completely connected with one another, yet the gap gives the whole building a flowing look, where an ascending platform takes an upward spiral on the block. The platform is used as a circulation as well as a medium to facilitate movement between blocks. The lengthened and rolling circulation connects still objects in three-dimensional space, offers visitors an excellent travel experience and enhances their interaction with the building space.
